The Mission (Mision Voz de Clama) that we are working
with here in Costa Rica consists of several integral
parts. It is not only a beautiful language school
diligently training missionaries and lay people to
communicate in espanol. But also a church plant reaching
into the local, primarily catholic community. The
other and certainly not least part is a residential
care facility on the property for indigenous handicapped
people. We spend one hour every Monday afternoon doing
a combination of occupational therapy, playing and
ministry with the beautiful residents of the house.

Here the ball races from person to person as the residents
become comfortable with ball handling.

Victorino, the affectionate class clown, practices
bumping the volleyball unimpeded by his chair.

Here the residents have the opportunity to set the
ball before our first volleyball scrimmage! It was
a beautiful, albiet HOT afternoon."Que Callor!"
I am pretty sure the residents had fun, I know we
did.
Thursday
Classes continue to push us to the point where it
feels we can no longer fit words into our heads.

Jenni and her teacher Diana.

The little people love their teacher and call her
their "Costrican Mamma"
Friday
We had another Friday afternoon sports time open
to the commumity. 21 people showed up to share a time
to fun with us. After playing volleyball and soccer
Jenni shared the Gospel using the evangacube. You
could tell several had never heard that they could
have a personal relationship with Christ.
