Trip Testimonies

"Words can't express how God changed my life while spending time among the people and church in sports camp, youth ministry, outdoor sports, outreach, youth camp,
outreach program, short-term missions, community outreach, outreach ministry, christian outreach, youth outreach, sports varsity,
church outreach, sports clinics, sports ministry, short term missions, mission, church plantings, sports ministry, sports missions,
Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Belize, Alaska, Brazil, internshipsPeru. I went into the trip expecting God to do amazing things, but had no idea that He would surprise me and change my life for eternity. I was so moved by the love and joy that filled the people we spent time with. I left with an inexpressable joy in my heart filled only by Christ. In some ways I feel like I received more blessing than being a blessing to the church. I am so thankful for the opportunity that was give to me to be a part of a team serving in Lima. God is so good, and my life is forever changed!" (Michelle - Peru July 2005)

The big impact that this trip has had on my life is that I know that I need to be telling people about sports camp, youth ministry, outdoor sports, outreach, youth camp,
outreach program, short-term missions, community outreach, outreach ministry, christian outreach, youth outreach, sports varsity,
church outreach, sports clinics, sports ministry, short term missions, mission, church plantings, sports ministry, sports missions,
Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Belize, Alaska, Brazil, internships Jesus. There are no words to describe what I felt while we were witnessing to people there. It was just pure, eternal joy. Joy that will never go away, it is the joy that I crave more of. As we talked about it we said that they just live in a different culture than we do here, and that’s why it’s so easy to witness. True, but the same Spirit changes hearts in Peru as in Nebraska. I am just challenged to talk to people about whether or not they are going to heaven. It is just that simple. Overall, 127 people accepted Christ on our trip. We all felt the joy of knowing that we were part of an eternal difference. Are we compelled by Christ like the Peruvians are? Do we understand what the seriousness of death to a non-believer? I’m afraid in the US we have become too comfortable and we don’t want to offend anyone by telling them what we believe.

(Dan - Peru December 2006)
