KIDS SPORTS CAMPS
Kids
love sports! And they of course love to play
together. Hosting a sports camp in 
your
city can provide a great opportunity to meet
new families and coach kids how to be total
athletes for God - mind, body and soul.
The
Varsity Kids Sports Camps offer high quality
coaching with clinics for
basketball, football, volleyball, and soccer.
But the real power is experienced
daily as leaders tell their faith stories at
the Coaches Corner and the entire
camp learns how to "Fill the Nets".
20-50%
of the kids involved normally become Christians
during the camp.
Each
week begins with two half days called JV for
children entering 1st through 3rd grades. This
is $30 per person. Running from 9 am to noon,
these younger kids receive an age appropriate
version of the "Nets" program and
an overview of the four sports. Varsity is for
kids going entering 4th through 6th grade and
allows children to focus on one sport from 9
am to 3 pm
over three days of camp. Varsity is $60 per
person.
Up
to 100 kids can be enrolled in JV and 100 in
Varsity each week.
While
kids invited by friends from your church learn
to follow Jesus, your own
leaders grow in sharing their faith with kids
each day. The SportReach athletes
are committed to involve your volunteers in
every clinic. This begins before the
team even arrives in your city. Church leaders
are provided with a detailed
Play Book for training the adults and older
teens who will help lead the sports
outreach. Each day of camp also begins with
a Pre-game Rally to prepare your leaders for
the day.
The volunteers
are continually involved in the coaching, counseling,
and communication.

A CAMP
Varsity
Kids Sports Camps are now being scheduled
for the summer of 2008. Every SportReach event
is a partnership in outreach with a local
church. We would love to help you reach out
to new people in your community through the
common language of sport. Our staff coach
you throughout the year in all steps of preparation,
sports ministry, and follow up planning.
A
Varsity Kids Sports Camp can be reserved with
a $500 deposit. Guaranteeing a minimum number
of kids equaling at least $3,000, the church
makes several payments to SportReach throughout
the year. This covers the cost of travel,
insurance, 50 posters and flyer templates,
all sports equipment except the hoops and
volley- ball nets, and a camp shirt and sports
bottle for each camper and volunteer. Other
minimal expenses could be for additional publicity,
field or gym rental fees, and lunch on camp
days for the six coaches.
